If you’ve enabled two-factor authentication on your Quantium account with Microsoft Authenticator, you may have received recovery codes through email. These codes can come in handy if you lose access to your authentication device. However, it’s important to safeguard these codes as they can be used to log in to your Quantium account.

How to sign in with 2FA recovery codes

When you first set up and enable Microsoft Authenticator,  a Microsoft-generated email is sent to your account containing recovery codes.

It is important to safeguard these codes as they can be used to log in to your Quantium account if you do not have access to the secondary device used for authentication purposes. This is an example recovery code message that you will receive:

Instructions: Signing into Quantium with recovery codes


Step 1

Sign in to Quantium with your user ID and password.

Step 2
When on the Authentication page, select “Sign in with a recovery code“.

Step 3
Enter a recovery code and select “Log in“.

Note: Be aware that each recovery code may only be used once. We recommend that you reset your recovery codes once they have been used.

Step 4
Reset your recovery codes. The newly-generated codes will display on screen and also be e-mailed to you.
