1. OTP not received
This issue can be identified upon activation of your account and the required OTP sent via email is not being received.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Kindly check your spam/junk folder in your email application.
- Whitelist admin@quantium.pe as a sender to ensure OTP emails are delivered directly in your priority inbox.
2. Activation link expired
This issue can be identified when you are directly prompted for a username and password upon initial activation of your portal account.
Troubleshooting Tips:
Please contact the original sender of the activation link e-mail. They will assist you in generating a new activation link. Once you’ve received the new activation link e-mail, simply continue with the normal activation process.
3. Enabling third party cookies
This issue can be identified by the characteristic continuous “loading” screen that appears after the user has successfully logged in via their credentials. This occurs because Quantium uses third-party cookies as part of our authentication process, ensuring seamless access to our apps with a single login.
Troubleshooting Tips:
Firefox
- Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the Settings page, go to the Privacy & Security panel.
- Under Browser Privacy, select the Custom option.
- Check the Cookies box and choose All third-party cookies from the dropdown menu.
- Close the Settings tab. Your changes will be saved automatically.
Chrome
- Open Chrome and click on the three vertical dots (more menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the Settings page, scroll down and click on Privacy and security on the left sidebar.
- Click on Third-party cookies.
- Under General settings, select Allow third-party cookies.
- Close the Settings tab. Your changes will be saved automatically.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three horizontal dots (more menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the Settings page, click on Cookies and site permissions on the left sidebar.
- Click on Manage and delete cookies and site data under the Cookies and data stored section.
- Ensure Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) is enabled.
- Toggle the switch for Block third-party cookies to the off position to allow third-party cookies.
4. Whitelisting URLs
This issue can be identified when being directed to a “service unavailable” screen after successfully logging in. Please follow the browser setting steps outlined in part one first.
If the issue persists, contact your administrator or IT team to whitelist the endpoints mentioned in part two of your network settings.
Steps to apply in your browser:
To ensure that the Quantium Portal functions correctly, it’s important to whitelist the following endpoints in your Chrome or Firefox browser:
Follow the steps below for each browser to whitelist these endpoints.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome Settings:
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to Privacy and Security:
- In the left-hand sidebar, click Privacy and security.
- Open Site Settings:
- Under the “Privacy and security” section, click on Site Settings.
- Adjust Content Settings:
- Scroll down to Content settings.
- Click on JavaScript.
- Add Sites to Allow:
- Under the “Allowed to use JavaScript” section, click Add.
- Enter “https://quantium-func-app.azurewebsites.net” and click Add.
- Repeat the process to add “https://quantiumportalapis.azurewebsites.net”.
- Verify the Settings:
- Ensure both URLs are listed under the “Allowed to use JavaScript” section.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox Preferences:
- Click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to Privacy & Security:
- In the left-hand sidebar, click “Privacy, search and service”.
- Manage Permissions for Content Blocking:
- Locate the Enhanced Tracking Protection section.
- Click on Manage Exceptions.
- Add Sites to Exceptions:
- In the pop-up window, type “https://quantium-func-app.azurewebsites.net” in the “Address of website” field.
- Click Allow.
- Repeat the process to add “https://quantiumportalapis.azurewebsites.net”.
- Save Changes:
- Click Save Changes to apply the settings.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge Settings:
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to Cookies and Site Permissions:
- In the left-hand sidebar, click “Cookies and site permissions”.
- Manage Site Permissions:
- Scroll down to the Site permissions section.
- Click on JavaScript.
- Add Sites to Allow:
- Under the “Allow” section, click Add.
- Enter “https://quantium-func-app.azurewebsites.net” and click Add.
- Repeat the process to add “https://quantiumportalapis.azurewebsites.net”.
- Verify the Settings:
- Ensure both URLs are listed under the “Allow” section.
